Because I am so skilled in the plastic surgery department, I decided to do a post about the out patient experience in terms of what to wear and what you need.
Hat and sheer scarf because no sunglasses are allowed if you are working on the face. Sheer scarf in case you want to shield your face from the public.
A button-up shirt is a must because you shouldn't pull anything over the head. If it is body plastic surgery you do not have a lot of mobility. So arms out and the nurse will dress you. Sweats that you can pull up and down easily. Slides for shoes because why would anyone wear tennis shoes. Socks are essential, most doctors allow you to wear socks during surgery.
Good lip balm because going under anesthesia dries you out!! No facial products or body lotions allowed, period.
Hanky to wipe stuff.
Coconut water to hydrate and gum to chew because no food prior to surgery.
Charcoal and bruising pills for the aftermath.
Pill container so you can pill pop efficiently.
